Chase Larson
Team Success Manager at Partners Dog Training, turning reactive and aggressive dogs into calm, trustworthy companions
About Chase
Hello, my name is Chase, and I am the Team Success Manager at Partners Dog Training in Scottsdale. I have been here for over two years, but I have worked with dogs for eight years across daycare, animal care, and management. I started at a daycare and boarding facility as an animal care tech and worked my way up to day manager, then joined Partners in daycare and animal care before moving into training.
I have always been a dog person, but Partners is where I found my real passion, which is training dogs and the people who love them. My goal is to help owners build a better relationship and a clearer understanding with their dog, and to lay the foundation they need to keep succeeding long after our work together is done.
The dogs everyone else gives up on are the ones I want, because a little structure changes everything.
Specialties & Programs
Training Philosophy
I train with a balanced, personalized approach and adjust to the dog in front of me depending on where we are with a behavior. That means Teaching a new concept clearly, Reinforcing it until it is consistent, Proofing it under real distractions, and building Maintenance so it holds up in everyday life. With the reactive and aggressive cases I love most, this structure is what turns tension into trust. I want the dog to feel understood and the owner to feel in control, so a walk, a doorbell, or a visitor stops being a problem and starts feeling normal.
Ideal Client & Goals
I am at my best with Behavior Camp dogs, especially those working through aggression and reactivity. Those are the cases that need the most patience and the most precise handling, and they are the ones I care about most. Honestly, my ideal client is anyone who cares enough to fix the problem. If you are ready to put in the effort and follow through, I will give your dog everything I have and give you the tools to keep it going at home.
Experience
I have spent about eight years working with dogs. I started at a daycare and boarding facility for dogs and cats as an animal care tech and grew into a day manager role. At Partners I began in daycare and animal care, and I now serve as a Senior Instructor at our Scottsdale (Shea) location while leading team success. Along the way I have focused on the harder behavior cases, particularly aggression and reactivity, where structure and clear communication make the biggest difference.
Favorite moment: My favorite part of this work is the moment a dog that used to react to everything finally relaxes and looks to its owner for direction. That is when the relationship really starts.
