About Taylor

Hello, I'm Taylor, and I'm a Experience Manager here at Partners Dog Training. I help across the whole school, from growing our retail store to developing our leaders and the processes that keep every family's experience smooth and consistent. Whatever a guest needs, my job is to make sure the people and systems behind their dog's training are ready for them.

The program I love devoting my time to most is Snake Avoidance, our rattlesnake avoidance training. I love the connections we make with both parents and their dogs, and getting to show families the peace of mind this training brings on every Arizona trail and in their own backyard. My goal is a positive experience for our guests and our team members at every step of their journey with us.

Training Philosophy

I believe good training and good leadership come from the same place: meet people and dogs where they are, then guide them forward. At Partners we use balanced training that we personalize to each dog through four stages, Teaching, Reinforcing, Proofing, and Maintenance, so the work fits the dog in front of us instead of a one-size formula. My part is making sure the family understands the plan and feels supported through it, because a calm, reliable dog at home comes from parents who know exactly what to do next.

Ideal Client & Goals

My favorite person to work with is someone open and ready to learn. I love educating pet parents and watching the moment things click for them. What I want most is to see every pet parent and every team member grow toward their goals, working through the limitations in front of them rather than around them, so the whole relationship between family and dog gets stronger.

Experience

I bring eight years of leadership experience across a range of roles, paired with a retail management background and a lifelong love of dogs. Growing up I was the one people called a dog whisperer. At Partners I put all of that together, developing our team, shaping our processes, growing the retail side of the school, and leading our Snake Avoidance program.

Favorite moment: My favorite part of this work is the connection made with both parents and their dogs, and getting to share how much our training changes their everyday life together.
